DESIGNER TOUCH CLEANING SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction:

These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of cleaning services by DESIGNER TOUCH CLEANING SERVICES to the CLIENT [                  ]. By booking, confirming or receiving our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

 

2. Services Provided

We offer Residential and Commercial cleaning services, including but not limited to:

Basic Cleaning

Deep Cleaning

Sweeping

Dusting

Mopping

Windows

Vacuuming

Oven Cleaning

Trash Removal 

Special requests (subject to agreement)

 

Specific details of the services provided will be agreed upon in writing or via email prior to the commencement of any cleaning.

3. Booking and Scheduling

All cleaning appointments must be booked through our online booking system, by phone or via email. A confirmation email or message will be sent to the CLIENT once the appointment is scheduled. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment in the event of unseen circumstances (e.g. illness, equipment malfunction, weather conditions etc.). In such cases we will notify the CLIENT as soon as possible and work to reschedule at the earliest convenient time.

 

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the cleaning services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept payments via Credit/Debit Cards, Bank Transfers and Cash. Late payments will incur a fee of £10.00 per day past the due date. Appointments will be cancelled for free if notice is given within more than 10 hours before scheduled appointment. If the service is cancelled or rescheduled within less than 10 hours of the scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee of £5.00 will apply.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

The CLIENT is responsible for ensuring access to the property on the scheduled cleaning day. This includes providing keys, alarm codes, or any necessary entry instructions. The CLIENT is responsible for securing any valuables, fragile items, and personal belongings before the cleaning appointment. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of such items. If pets are present, the CLIENT should ensure that they are either kept in a safe area or properly restrained during the cleaning process.

 

6. Company Responsibilities

We will perform the cleaning services in a professional, safe, and thorough manner. Our cleaners will use products and equipment that are safe for the cleaning tasks at hand. If a specific cleaning product is preferred by the CLIENT, it must be provided by the CLIENT. We are committed to ensuring that all Services are provided to the CLIENT’s satisfaction, within the scope of the agreed-upon service.

 

7. Health & Safety

We will follow all relevant health and safety protocols, including using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, and adhering to any local regulations concerning cleaning operations. The CLIENT agrees to notify us of any health or safety risks that may affect the cleaning process (e.g. allergies to cleaning products, physical hazards, etc.).

 

8. Liability & Insurance

The Company carries AXA to cover any potential damages to property caused by our cleaners. However, the CLIENT must report any property damage or loss within 24 hours of the cleaning service for a claim to be considered. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions in the property (e.g., worn-out furniture, cracks, wall stains, carpet stains, etc.).

 

9. Termination of Service

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by providing written notice. Any fees owed up until the date of termination will remain due. If the CLIENT terminates the service after the cleaning crew has already been dispatched, a cancellation fee will apply as outlined in Section 4.

 

10. Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of our clients and agree to keep any personal information collected during the provision of Services confidential. This includes any access information, health and safety concerns, and financial details shared for payment purposes.

 

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and communicated to CLIENTS prior to their next scheduled service. The revised terms will apply to all future Services provided after the change.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the Laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Contract Act 1999 and common law principles govern these agreements. Terms and conditions that are outlined in this contract will fall under this body of law.

Sale of Goods and Services Act 1982: This Act requires that services provided (such as cleaning) must meet certain expectations of quality and be completed within a reasonable time frame.

Consumer Rights Act 2015: This legislation outlines the rights of consumers when they enter contracts with businesses, ensuring that services are provided with reasonable care and skill.

 

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between DESIGNER TOUCH CLEANING SERVICES and the CLIENT, you must follow the relevant legal processes for resolving conflicts. This could involve Small Claims Court for any disputes over unpaid invoices or breach of contract (if the amount is below £10,000.00).
